SUMMARY:Ultra-marathon: 13 Valleys Ultra
DESCRIPTION:A new ultra-marathon event\, 13 Valleys Ultra\, will be held in the stunning landscape of the Lake District National Park in England from 29 September to 1 October. Open to everyone\, the event will feature three ultra distances – 60km\, 100km\, and 180km – as well as a 20km trail distance. The 13 Valleys distance (180km) is the pinnacle and will rank alongside some of the toughest tests of ultra running in the world. SUMMARY:2023 Chicago Marathon 
DESCRIPTION:In its 45th year on Sunday 8 October 2023\, the Bank of America Chicago Marathon will welcome thousands of participants from more than 100 countries and all 50 states\, including a world-class elite field\, top regional and masters runners\, race veterans\, debut marathoners and charity participants.  \nThe race’s iconic course takes participants through 29 vibrant neighbourhoods on an architectural and cultural tour of Chicago. Annually\, an estimated 1.7 million spectators line the streets cheering on more than 45\,000 participants from the start line to the final stretch down Columbus Drive.  \nThe 2023 Bank of America Chicago Marathon\, a member of the Abbott World Marathon Majors\, will start and finish in Grant Park beginning at 7.30am on Sunday 8 October. In advance of the race\, a three-day Abbott Health & Fitness Expo will be held at McCormick Place Convention Center on Thursday 5 October\, Friday 6 October\, and Saturday 7 October.
