SUMMARY:One Water Race
DESCRIPTION:One Water Race\, a concept that aims to establish the world’s toughest endurance event\, will take place from 23-25 August 2022 in the Stockholm archipelago in Sweden. The event will see participants take on one of sport’s toughest challenges: a 250km race\, the distance of six marathons\, by running (200km) and swimming (50km). \nStarting at Arholma in the north of Sweden\, the first to reach Landsort in the south is crowned the winner. Running and swimming are the only methods of movement. There is a maximum of ten teams\, each team consists of three racers and a team captain\, with both sexes needing to be represented and be out on the course the entire time.

SUMMARY:2021 DXB Snow Run at Ski Dubai
DESCRIPTION:Following the success of the first DXB Snow Run in 2020\, the Dubai Sports Council and Majid Al Futtaim have confirmed that second edition of the event will take place on the slopes of Ski Dubai at the Mall of the Emirates\, in -4C\, on Friday 17 September 2021. \nRegistration for the 2nd DXB Snow Run is open now\, and men and women of all nationalities aged 16 and above can participate. This year\, the organisers have added a second 5km category to the original 3km run and those interested can register through the PremierOnline website. \nThe inaugural Snow Run\, organised as part of Dubai Sports Council and Ski Dubai’s “DXB Snow Week”\, attracted participants from 46 different nations. Buti Al Nuaimi of the UAE topped the timesheet in the men’s category\, while Pia Hansske of Germany was fastest among the ladies. \nSki Dubai has hosted a number of sports events in recent months\, including the world’s first indoor edition of Red Bull Jump & Freeze on 9 July. It is going to be a busy venue this year with more than 10 events scheduled to take place at the venue\, including national and international tournaments like the UAE Alpine Ski Championship\, UAE National Ski and Snowboard Freestyle Championship and the 12th edition of Ice Warrior Challenge.
