Los Angeles has been confirmed as host city for the 10th edition of the Laver Cup, with the three-day men’s team tennis competition set to take place at Intuit Dome in Inglewood from 24-26 September 2027.
The tournament will arrive in California a year after the Laver Cup returns to London, where The O2 will host the 2026 edition from 25-27 September.
For travelling tennis fans, Los Angeles promises a very different setting for the competition – and another opportunity to combine world-class sport with a city break in one of the world’s biggest entertainment destinations.
It will also form part of an extraordinary period for sports tourism in Los Angeles. After hosting matches for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the city will also host Super Bowl LXI in 2027 and the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2028.

Laver Cup at Intuit Dome
The 2027 tournament will be staged at Intuit Dome, home of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers and one of the newest major sports venues in the United States.
Opened in 2024, the arena has been designed around the fan experience, combining technology, premium hospitality and entertainment. It hosted the NBA All-Star Game in 2026 and will also stage basketball during the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

What is the Laver Cup?
Named in honour of Australian tennis legend Rod Laver, the Laver Cup brings together six of Europe’s leading men’s players to compete against six players representing the rest of the world.
The three-day competition is played on the tournament’s distinctive black court and is an official part of the ATP Tour calendar.
Since making its debut in Prague in 2017, the event has travelled to cities including Chicago, Geneva, Boston, London, Vancouver and Berlin.
London also provided the backdrop to perhaps the most famous moment in Laver Cup history in 2022, when Roger Federer ended his professional career at the tournament alongside long-time rival Rafael Nadal and fellow “Big Four” stars Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.
Why LA should be on the sports travel bucket list
For sports travellers, the Laver Cup offers another reason to put Los Angeles on the radar for 2027.
As well as three days of tennis at Intuit Dome, visitors can build a wider sporting itinerary around the trip. Los Angeles is home to some of the biggest teams and venues in US sport, with the Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers, Rams, Chargers, Kings and LAFC among the city’s major franchises.
September is also a particularly interesting time to visit for sports fans. The MLB regular season is approaching its conclusion, while the NFL season is getting underway, potentially giving international visitors the chance to combine the Laver Cup with baseball or American football.
The tournament will also provide fans with an early opportunity to experience one of the venues that will play a role in the LA28 Olympic Games less than a year later.
