Dubai has added a new championship golf course to its sporting itinerary with the opening of Emaar South Golf Club on 5 October 2026.
Located in Dubai South, it’s the fourth golf club in Emaar Hospitality Group’s portfolio and features an 18-hole championship course designed by European Golf Design.
With dedicated practice facilities and a contemporary clubhouse, Emaar South Golf Club caters to experienced players, beginners and families.

Emaar South Golf Club joins Emaar Hospitality Group’s sports and leisure collection, which includes Dubai Hills Golf Club, Montgomerie Golf Club Dubai, Arabian Ranches Golf Club, Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club, Dubai Marina Yacht Club, and Creek Marina Yacht Club.
Emaar South Golf Club: course and facilities
Designed by European Golf Design, the par-72 championship course features 18 holes arranged in two loops of nine, measuring 7,278 yards from the black tees.
The layout is designed to challenge golfers of all abilities, with the course set amid the landscapes of Dubai South.
Practice facilities include a dedicated driving range, chipping greens and putting greens, while unrestricted driving range access is included with membership.
The contemporary clubhouse features locker rooms, a golf shop operated by E-Golf and a restaurant managed by Maison Mathis.
Emaar South Golf Club also hosts tournaments, competitions, corporate events and society golf days, with future plans including membership offerings and golf academy programmes.
The club is located within the Emaar South community in Dubai South, approximately 10 minutes from Al Maktoum International Airport and close to Expo City Dubai.
Dubai as a golf tourism destination
The opening further strengthens Dubai’s reputation as a leading golf tourism destination in the Middle East.
The emirate is already home to internationally recognised venues including Emirates Golf Club, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, and The Els Club.
