Men’s rugby union: 2023 Six Nations round five

18 March 2023

European Test rugby union takes centre stage in February and March 2023 with the men’s Guinness Six Nations championship. Featuring England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales, games will be played over five rounds on 4-5 February; 11-12 February; 25-26 February; 11-12 March; and 18 March. In 2022 France won the championship and the grand slam. The 2023 edition of the Six Nations will also be a big part of preparations ahead of the men’s World Cup in September and October.

Men’s 2023 Six Nations round five fixtures on 18 March are:

  • Scotland vs. Italy
  • France vs. Wales
  • Ireland vs. England

Each year, millions of rugby fans attend the Guinness Six Nations matches, and more than 100,000,000 tune in across 180 countries globally. For those who haven’t managed to get their hands on a ticket, Guinness is inviting fans to watch the Championship together at official Guinness Six Nations 2023 Fanzones – the next best thing to being inside the stadiums themselves.

In these fanzones, fans can watch the live rugby action unfold on giant screens and be surprised with legendary guest appearances. They will feature everything from game-themed menus, learning how to pour the perfect pint, live entertainment, quizzes and the chance to win ultimate “Money Can’t Buy Experiences”. The rugby-centric locations include Vinegar Yard in London, DEPOT in Cardiff, The Pear Tree in Edinburgh, and Freight Island, Manchester.
