As one of Europe’s most established sports resorts, Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa offers far more than a traditional golf getaway.
Set within the expansive La Manga Club resort in Murcia, southeast Spain, the property combines luxury accommodation, wellness facilities and an impressive range of sports infrastructure, making it a standout destination for active travellers, training camps and sports-focused family holidays.
The hotel made headlines as the first Grand Hyatt property in Spain when it opened following an extensive refurbishment. Today, it serves as the centrepiece of a resort that attracts golfers, tennis players, football teams, cricketers and wellness travellers from across Europe.
Rooms and suites
The hotel features 192 guest rooms, including seven signature suites, many offering views across the rolling hills of the Calblanque Natural Park and the Mediterranean coastline. Interiors draw inspiration from the surrounding landscape, while marble bathrooms and modern amenities add a luxury touch.
Wellness centre
A highlight of the property is its 18,298-square-foot wellness centre. The Arabian-inspired spa features six treatment rooms, hydrotherapy facilities, a fitness centre and an adults-only infinity pool overlooking the golf courses and coastline. A separate outdoor family pool ensures younger guests are equally well catered for.

Golf
Golf remains at the heart of the La Manga Club experience. The resort is home to three championship 18-hole golf courses, alongside a golf academy and extensive practice facilities that cater to everyone from beginners to elite players.
Tennis, padel and pickleball
While golf may be the headline attraction, La Manga Club has become one of Europe’s premier racquet sports destinations. The resort’s Racquets Club now features 42 courts and facilities for tennis, padel and pickleball, alongside coaching programmes for players of all ages and abilities.
Families can enrol children in a range of junior academies, from introductory sessions for under-sixes to elite performance programmes for nationally ranked players. Adults can choose from intensive multi-day academies, advanced coaching clinics and year-round development programmes.

Football and cricket
New for summer 2026, La Manga Club has launched an enhanced Football Academy in partnership with Creative Sport Marketing. Running from 6 July to 28 August, the programme offers professional coaching for young players aged 6-16, with guest coaches including former Spain internationals Salva Ballesta and Patxi Salinas.
Sessions take place at the resort’s Football Center, which features eight FIFA-sized natural grass pitches and a 750-seat stadium. The facilities regularly host professional clubs and international teams for training camps.
Cricket is also a major part of the resort’s sporting offering, with two artificial pitches, five artificial net lanes and dedicated fielding practice areas, making it one of southern Europe’s leading cricket training venues.
Dining
Guests can choose from 11 dining venues across the resort, ranging from casual Mediterranean dining to an izakaya-style sushi bar and the acclaimed Amapola restaurant, offering a more refined gastronomic experience.
Events and meetings
The hotel offers 13,863 square feet of event space, including eight flexible meeting rooms and a 4,305-square-foot Grand Ballroom. Facilities can accommodate conferences, corporate retreats, sporting events and weddings for up to 400 guests.
