Horse racing: 2022 Dubai World Cup Carnival

Navarino Challenge 2021

Rugby League World Cup: men’s, women’s and wheelchair

Postponed from 2021, the men’s, women’s and wheelchair Rugby League World Cups will be held from 15 October to 19 November 2022 in England. There will be a total 61 matches across the three tournaments. RLWC will kick-off on Saturday 15 October at St James' Park in Newcastle with England vs. Samoa in the men's tournament. The first women's fixture is between England and Brazil on Tuesday 1 November at Headingley Stadium in Leeds. And the opening fixture of the wheelchair tournament is Spain vs. Ireland on Thursday 3 November at the Copper Box Arena in London. Manchester will host all three finals, starting with the wheelchair final at Manchester Central on Friday 18 November. Women’s Rugby World Cup New Zealand

Postponed from 2021, the women’s rugby union World Cup will be held in New Zealand from 8 October to 12 November 2022. The host venues are Eden Park in Auckland; Northland Events Centre in Whangarei; and Waitakere Stadium in Auckland. There will be 12 nations competing in the Rugby World Cup and they have been drawn into three pools. The tournament kicks off at Eden Park on 8 October with South Africa taking on France in Pool C. Pool-stage fixtures will be played across six matchdays between 8-23 October. The four quarter-finals will be played on 29 and 30 October, with Northland Events Centre in Whangarei hosting the first and second and Waitakere Stadium in Auckland hosting the third and fourth.
