FIS World Snow Day 2023

Organised by the FIS (International Ski Federation), the 12th edition of FIS World Snow Day will be held on Sunday 15 January 2023. Described as “The Biggest Day on Snow, All Year”, World Snow Day was established to increase youth participation in snow sports, to support and encourage involvement in snow sports, and to bring newcomers to snow whilst offering extra value to those who already participate. The first ever Fifa World Cup to be held in the northern hemisphere winter will take place in Qatar from 20 November to 18 December 2022. 2021 DXB Snow Run at Ski Dubai

Following the success of the first DXB Snow Run in 2020, the Dubai Sports Council and Majid Al Futtaim have confirmed that second edition of the event will take place on the slopes of Ski Dubai at the Mall of the Emirates, in -4C, on Friday 17 September 2021. Registration for the 2nd DXB Snow Run is open now, and men and women of all nationalities aged 16 and above can participate. This year, the organisers have added a second 5km category to the original 3km run and those interested can register through the PremierOnline website. The inaugural Snow Run, organised as part of Dubai Sports Council and Ski Dubai’s "DXB Snow Week", attracted participants from 46 different nations.
