2024 supertri Chicago Triathlon

The Chicago Triathlon weekend, the second leg of the five-race 2024 supertri League series, will be held on 24-25 August. Making its debut on the supertri League circuit, the Chicago Triathlon is the largest short course triathlon in the United States and has been running for more than 40 years. On Saturday 24 August the supersprint (0.23-mile swim, 6.2-mile cycle, 1.5-mile run) and kids races will take place. Then a day later, Sunday 25 August, the sprint (0.47-mile swim, 15-mile cycle, 3.1-mile run) and Olympic (1.5km swim, 40km cycle, 10km run) will be held.  The event in the Windy City is set to attract more than 8,000 athletes, including more than 1,000 youth athletes, and more than 20,000 spectators. Chicago to host Nascar Cup Series street race in July 2023 

For the first time ever, the sights, sounds, and speed of Nascar are coming to downtown Chicago in July 2023. One of the world’s top sports cities, Chicago will add another chapter to its illustrious sports history when a Nascar Cup Series street race debuts against the backdrop of Lake Michigan and Grant Park.  The first-ever Nascar Cup Series street course race will take place on Sunday 2 July, and will be preceded by an IMSA-sanctioned series race, which will run on Saturday 1 July. The specific IMSA series joining the Nascar Cup Series in Chicago will be announced at a later date.
