Formula 1 will continue racing in Las Vegas through to 2037, following a new 10-year extension. Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc, Clark County officials and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), have all committed to the long-term future of one of the standout events on both the US and global sporting calendar. Since debuting on the Formula 1 calendar in 2023, the Las Vegas Grand Prix has delivered $3.2 billion in cumulative economic impact for Southern Nevada, with all three races from 2023 through 2025 selling out and helping position Las Vegas among the sport's marquee destinations worldwide.  In 2025 alone, the race generated $43 million in state and local tax revenue, including $15 million allocated to support local K-12 education. Las Vegas Grand Prix Plaza: new F1 fan attractions to open in May 2025

The world’s largest Formula 1 attraction, the Grand Prix Plaza, will open its doors in Las Vegas on 2 May 2025. Home to the Las Vegas Grand Prix Pit Building, the 39-acre Grand Prix Plaza features more than 100,000 square feet of entertainment across three ticketed F1 attractions.  The venue will close for the season in late summer to prepare for November's Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix, with a future reopening date to be announced. 2022 NFL Draft: Las Vegas confirmed as host city  

Las Vegas may have missed out on hosting the 2020 NFL Draft due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but the Nevada city has been awarded the event in 2022.  Confirming the news NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said: “I’m pleased to announce that Las Vegas will host the 2022 NFL Draft, where we look forward to holding an even bigger and better event.” Steve Hill, CEO and president of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), added: “We’re thrilled the NFL has given us the opportunity to host the Draft in Las Vegas in 2022.
