Formula 1 fans looking for an early addition to the 2027 sports travel bucket list should mark 18-20 February in the calendar, when F1 Live Milan brings a three-day celebration of motorsport to one of Italy’s most famous cities.
Taking place just ahead of the start of the 2027 Formula 1 season, the event promises to turn Milan into a destination for F1 fans from around the world, combining appearances from the sport’s biggest names with live entertainment and a three-day fan festival.
F1 Live Milan follows the success of F1 75 Live, which was held at The O2 in London in February 2025. That event was broadcast across 37 territories and attracted 7.5 million viewers to its live broadcast. Formula 1 now plans to take the concept further with a bigger and more immersive experience in Italy.
At the centre of the programme will be two events: the Milan Fan Festival, running throughout the three days, and F1 The Show on 18 February.
The one-night-only show will feature appearances from drivers and Team Principals representing all 11 Formula 1 teams, alongside a programme of music and entertainment. Details of the venue, Fan Festival activities and entertainment line-up are expected to be announced in the coming months.
For travelling fans, Milan provides an appropriate setting. One of Europe’s major destinations for culture, fashion, food and design, the city is also within easy reach of Monza, home of the Italian Grand Prix and one of Formula 1’s most historic circuits.
Formula 1 president and CEO Stefano Domenicali said the event would build on the success of F1 75 Live and bring fans even closer to the sport.
“We are always thinking big and pushing boundaries, and F1 Live Milan is going to be an incredible experience created with our fans at its heart,” he said. “We want them to feel that they are not simply watching the sport, but they are truly immersed in it.”
Domenicali added that F1 Live Milan would “transform the city into a Formula 1 festival for three unforgettable days”, bringing fans together from across the world.
Tickets are due to go on sale later in 2026, with fans also able to pre-register their interest.
