2024 City Ski Challenge, Crans-Montana

The City Ski Challenge will take place in the Swiss resort of Crans-Montana from 2-4 February 2024. Incorporating the City Ski Championships, organisers Momentum have created the new event to encourage a more diverse experience for all levels of skier.  Located in Crans-Montana for the third year running, the event will continue to hold its giant slalom race on the World Cup track, but new categories for novice skiers have been introduced. World Surf League confirms 2024 Championship Tour calendar

World Surf League (WSL) has announced the schedule for its 2024 Championship Tour (CT). The calendar will continue to showcase a combined women’s and men’s schedule featuring nine regular-season events, a mid-season cut after CT Stop No.5, and the fourth-annual WSL Finals. In 2024 Fiji returns to the schedule for the first time since 2017 as the final stop of the regular season from 20-29 August. Next year, surfing will also make its second appearance in the Summer Olympic Games at Paris 2024, with surfing competitions being held from 27 July to 5 August 2024. The 2024 WSL Finals will be held at Lower Trestles in San Clemente, California, from 6-14 September. ‘NFL Experience London’ fan event to be held at Battersea Power Station

American football returns to London in October with three regular-season NFL fixtures being held in the English capital. And to mark the 2023 NFL London Games, a one-day fan event will take place at Battersea Power Station on Saturday 7 October, from 10am to 6pm.  The free-to-attend “NFL Experience London” event will feature a Quarterback Challenge, Broad Jump and Vertical Jump, Wide Receiver, and Field Goal Kick activities. The Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears, New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings will also have fan activations and photo opportunities at the venue. 2024 Finkstonball Baseball and Softball Festival, Austria

Described as Europe’s biggest baseball and softball festival, Finkstonball will be held at the A’s Ballpark in Attnang-Puchheim, Austria from 17-20 May 2024. Founded in 1997, more than 110 teams from 24 different countries have travelled to the small town of Attnang-Puchheim, 46 miles from Salzburg, to take part in the celebratory weekend, MLS said. There’s big things happening on and off the pitch at Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise Inter Miami CF. As well as star signing Lionel Messi banging in the goals and the team winning the 2023 MLS Leagues Cup, the MLS club co-owned by David Beckham has announced that construction has now started on its new 25,000-seater stadium.  The Miami Freedom Park & Soccer Village, located near Miami International Airport, will be a 131-acre mixed-use development featuring the football-specific stadium, a public park and entertainment district.
