Formula 1 2024 race calendar: GP dates and venues

The calendar has been announced for the 2024 FIA Formula One World Championship, approved by the World Motor Sport Council. Featuring 24 races, the 2024 F1 season starts in Bahrain on 2 March and finishes in Abu Dhabi on 8 December. For the opening two races of the season, in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, the grand prix will take place on a Saturday. This decision has been taken to accommodate Ramadan. Part of a long-term partnership between F1 and the English Premier League football club, F1 Drive will be the world’s first in-stadium electric karting facility and London’s longest indoor karting track. Inaugural F1 Miami Grand Prix to be held in May 2022

The first ever edition of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix will take place from 6-8 May 2022, F1 officials have confirmed. It will be held at the Hard Rock Stadium complex in Miami Gardens and the new circuit layout will be 5.41km in length, have 19 corners, three straights and an estimated top speed of 320km/h.  The multi-purpose Hard Rock Stadium, which is home to the Miami Dolphins NFL franchise, has previously hosted six Super Bowls, two Baseball World Series and numerous rock concerts. Qatar Grand Prix completes Formula 1’s 22-race calendar for 2021 season

Formula 1 has confirmed its revised 22-race calendar for the 2021 season with Qatar announced as the destination for a grand prix in November.  The inaugural Qatar Grand Prix will take place at the purpose-built Losail International Circuit, 22 miles north of the capital city Doha. Qatar has also signed an additional ten-year deal to host F1 from 2023. The introduction of the Qatar Grand Prix means the 2021 F1 season will end with three races in the Gulf: Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi. 2021 F1 British Grand Prix set for full capacity at Silverstone

The 2021 Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix has been included in the latest phase of the UK Government’s Event Research Programme (ERP) allowing a full capacity crowd for the event from 15-18 July. Silverstone will be in touch with all ticket holders in the coming days with further details about how the Formula 1 British GP will run as a pilot event. Ticket holders will be asked for either proof of a negative lateral flow test taken within 48 hours of arrival at Silverstone, or proof of full vaccination, the second dose having been received at least 14 days prior to the first day of attending the British GP.
