Formula 1 2022 race calendar: GP dates and venues

The 23-race calendar for the 2022 FIA Formula One World Championship has been approved by the FIA’s World Motor Sport Council. F1’s 2022 season, which starts in Bahrain on 20 March and finishes in Abu Dhabi on 20 November, will see the Miami Grand Prix make its debut, but China will not feature due to ongoing Covid-19 conditions. Accor Stadium: hotel group wins naming rights for Sydney’s Stadium Australia

Hotel and hospitality group Accor has signed a seven-year naming rights deal for Stadium Australia – the iconic venue in Sydney’s Olympic Park.   Now named the Accor Stadium, it was the centrepiece of the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games and has a capacity of 100,000 spectators for concerts and more than 80,000 for seated sporting events. Visit Cayman Islands has announced a new partnership with British Canoeing, the governing body for paddlesports in the UK. Le Mans Classic 2022

After a two-year postponement, the iconic classic car event will return to Pays de la Loire’s motoring capital in 2022. Le Mans Classic has continued to grow since its beginnings in 2002 and it attracted over 195,000 spectators in 2018. Expect 600 racing cars on the track and 8,500 classic cars displayed in the specially designed enclosures.
