The 2027 tennis season will once again take the world’s best players and their fans around the globe, with four Grand Slams, major ATP and WTA tournaments and international team competitions on the calendar.
The four Grand Slams will be staged in Melbourne, Paris, London and New York, starting with the Australian Open in January and finishing with the US Open in September.
Away from the majors, the ATP Tour will feature 59 tournaments across 28 countries, including nine ATP Masters 1000 events, while the WTA Tour will feature 55 events across 26 countries and territories.
Major stops on the combined tours include Indian Wells, Miami, Madrid, Rome and Cincinnati, while the WTA 1000 calendar also features Doha, Dubai, Beijing and Wuhan. The season will conclude with the ATP Finals in Turin and the WTA Finals in their new home of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Team tennis will also feature prominently in 2027. The United Cup starts the season in Australia, Los Angeles will host the tenth edition of the Laver Cup, and the Billie Jean King Cup and Davis Cup will crown their respective world champions.

Tennis Grand Slams in 2027
The four Grand Slams are the biggest tournaments on the international tennis calendar: the Australian Open, Roland-Garros, Wimbledon and US Open.
Played across three different surfaces, the majors take tennis fans from the hard courts of Melbourne to the clay of Paris, the grass of Wimbledon and finally the hard courts of New York.
Australian Open
When: 11-31 January 2027; main draw 17-31 January

The first Grand Slam of 2027 will take place at Melbourne Park. Australian Open Opening Week runs from 11-16 January, with the main draw starting on Sunday 17 January. The women’s and men’s singles finals will be held on 30 and 31 January respectively.
French Open Roland-Garros

Surface: Clay
The world’s leading clay-court players head to Paris for the second Grand Slam of the year. Opening Week and qualifying begin before the main draw gets underway on 23 May, with the tournament culminating on 6 June.
The Championships Wimbledon

Surface: Grass
The oldest of tennis’s four Grand Slams returns to the All England Club from 28 June to 11 July. Wimbledon is the only major played on grass and remains one of the highlights of the British sporting summer.
US Open

Surface: Hard
The fourth and final Grand Slam of the season will take place in New York from 29 August to 12 September. Arthur Ashe Stadium, with a capacity of more than 23,000, will again stage the biggest matches.

United Cup

The United Cup opens the international tennis season, bringing together men’s and women’s players representing their countries in Perth and Sydney.
Billie Jean King Cup 2027 Finals

Shenzhen will continue as host of the Billie Jean King Cup Finals in 2027. The Chinese city was selected to stage the women’s international team competition from 2025 through 2027.
Laver Cup 2027

The tenth edition of the Laver Cup will head to Los Angeles following the 2026 tournament at The O2 in London. The three-day competition between Team Europe and Team World will be staged at Intuit Dome, home of the NBA’s LA Clippers and one of the newest major sporting arenas in the United States.
Davis Cup Finals

Italy will host the Davis Cup Final 8 for the third consecutive year in 2027. The competition brings together the eight remaining nations in the battle to be crowned men’s team world champions.
ATP Tour 2027 – ATP Masters 1000 events
The 2027 ATP Tour will feature 59 tournaments across 28 countries in addition to the four Grand Slams. There will be nine ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, with seven using the expanded 12-day format. The calendar also includes 16 ATP 500 tournaments and 29 ATP 250 events.

WTA Tour 2027 – WTA 1000 events
The 2027 WTA Tour will feature 55 events across 26 countries and territories. There are 10 WTA 1000 tournaments, starting with the Middle East swing in Doha and Dubai before the tour heads to Indian Wells and Miami.
The 2027 season will also mark a major milestone for women’s tennis, with all combined WTA 1000 tournaments offering equal prize money for the first time. Rome, the National Bank Open and Cincinnati join Indian Wells, Miami, Madrid and Beijing in reaching equal prize money.
