World Football Summit (WFS) will host its debut event in the UK with WFS London taking place on 10-11 March 2027 at Fulham Pier, in Craven Cottage, home of Fulham FC.
Hosted in partnership with AIX Capital, WFS London will gather senior executives from clubs, leagues and governing bodies across the football pyramid, in the men’s and women’s game and all four nations, together with brands, investors, agencies, tech platforms and media, and international companies from across the global football industry.
WFS London lands at a decisive moment for the UK game with the Independent Football Regulator’s first licensing window for the top five tiers of the English men’s game closing two weeks before the event.
The Premier League and the English Football League (EFL) are negotiating a new distribution model, 2026-2027 is the first season under the Premier League’s Squad Cost Ratio, and new owners, investment models and multi-club structures continue to arrive across every tier. The Women’s Super League (WSL) has expanded to 14 clubs, the UK is the sole bidder for the 2035 FIFA Women’s World Cup and EURO 2028 is on the horizon.
Jan Alessie, co-founder and managing director of World Football Summit, said: “We are delighted to bring World Football Summit to London, the capital of world football. For ten years, our platform has given every part of the industry a place at the same table, from clubs, leagues and federations to brands, investors and media.
“Now we want to set that table for British football, one of the great engines of our industry, at such an important moment for the game. We are confident WFS London will become an unmissable fixture in the calendar and take its place among the many great traditions of British football.”
Founded in 2016, World Football Summit has organised 34 events in 11 countries across four continents.
